Monosolve® Mesh

MONOSOLVE® MESH is a partially absorbable knitted composite mesh manufactured from absorbable Polyglycolide – co – caprolactone – 25 (PGCL) polymer and non-absorbable polypropylene monofilament fiber. The absorbable part of mesh is homogeneously absorbed in 90 – 121 days. After absorption of PGCL component, only polypropylene mesh remains and provides sufficient support with maximum patient comfort.

  • Monosolve® Mesh is a partially absorbable, light weight mesh composed of thin filaments maintaining good burst strength.
  • Flexible to approximate the natural movement of the abdominal wall, with 2:1 stretch.
  • High suture pullout and tensile strength.
  • Unique knitted mesh construction
  • Macroporous design promotes fluid flow-through, potentially reducing risk of seromas that could lead to infection
  • Leaves behind 65% less foreign material compared with some other traditional meshes after partial absorption
